Ms. Sim joined the Maury community in 2021. She is from Wilmington, Delaware but relocated to the DMV area after graduating college. She received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and a Master’s in Education Instructional Technology from the University of Maryland University College.
Ms. Sim has a true passion for working with Maury’s learners. She enjoys helping each student progress in all areas of their development; this is a challenge that she is honored to accept daily. She strives to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.
Outside of school, Ms. Sim enjoys traveling, gardening, DIY home projects, exercising, and spending time with her husband, sons, family and friends.
