Andrew Lardell is entering his fourth year as the Assistant Principal at Maury Elementary School. He brings over a decade of experience in K-5 education to this role, having taught first, second, and fifth grade in Anne Arundel County Public Schools and Montgomery County Public Schools.
During his teaching career, Mr. Lardell led multiple after-school enrichment programs and learning recovery initiatives, while also serving as a mentor to numerous new teachers.
Mr. Lardell is known for his unwavering commitment to building strong relationships with all students and families. He firmly believes that fostering a welcoming and inclusive school community is essential for supporting the holistic development and academic success of every child.
Mr. Lardell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from The Lincoln University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Education in Educational Technology and Leadership from Lamar University in Texas.
As a dynamic and dedicated educational leader, Mr. Lardell continues to work tirelessly to enhance the learning environment at Maury Elementary, ensuring that all students have the resources and support they need to reach their full potential.
