Ms. Hemphill joined Maury as a 5th grade teacher in 2023. She is a DC native who received her schooling from DC Public Schools. She graduated from UPitt with an English degree and went on to get her Masters in Teaching. Her mother taught at Maury and was an important influence to her teaching career. Ms. Hemphill loves to read, hang out with her friends, shop and vacation. Her favorite color is pink!
