Janine Levin has taught PK3 at Maury since 2010. Ms. Levin started her teaching career at Brent Elementary where she remained for 10 years. She then spent one year working as a Master Educator for DCPS. In that role, she visited every public elementary school in D.C. and observed and evaluated Pre-K teachers. It was during that year that she came to Maury and decided to return to the classroom here.
While she is originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Ms. Levin has lived in the D.C. area most of her life. She attended Montgomery County Public Schools before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Goucher College, a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from Towson University, and a certificate in teacher leadership from The Johns Hopkins School of Education.
