DC Public Schools Annual Art Show Opening Reception
DCPS invites you to attend their Annual Art Show on 5/8/14!
When: May 8th 6-9 p.m.
Where: Historic Lobby, Terminal A at Reagan Airport
DCPS invites you to attend the Opening Reception of their Annual Art Show. The reception will feature student visual and digital art, live music, an aquatic garden installation and the Trashion Fashion Show. The reception will take place on May 8th in the Historic Lobby, Terminal A at Reagan Airport from 6 p.m.- 9 p.m.
Ms. Bomba will be submitting up to ten pieces of Maury student artwork from various grade levels for the show. Unfortunately, because of airport security and the risk of theft, we are not allowed to submit three-dimensional work to this show. A majority of the work our students have produced this year has been sculptural, so in place of their actual work, Ms. Bomba will be submitting a sideshow of student work as well as our artistic process. We’d love to see many familiar Maury faces on opening night!
