We are excited about teachers conducting home visits for 100% of our PK3 and PK4 families and at least 50% of our K-5 families. Teachers will be calling to schedule home visits in order to get to know more about you and your child. 50% is our goal for year 1. In SY15-16, the goal will be 75% in grades K-5.
These home visits are positive experiences where our teachers can sit down with you and talk about how we can support one another in the coming school year.
Visiting your home will help us understand your hopes, dreams, and goals for your children, so that we can be better teachers. Visits will take place between July and September.
