Audience: Family members of children in preschool through first grade.
Please join The Literacy Lab for a parent workshop focused on early literacy development and reading and the brain. As adults who read without a second thought, it is helpful to remember how complex this process is in order to support children as they begin to read. This workshop will offer information on the processes and stages of early reading and will provide hands-on activities that parents and family members can do with children from ages 3-6.
