Feraz Ashraf joined the Maury staff in 2021 as the school’s librarian. Before coming to Maury, Mr. Ashraf worked at Johns Hopkins University for seven years and was a stay-at-home dad to his three young children for two years.
Mr. Ashraf was born and raised in the United Kingdom and when he was a teenager moved to Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate degree and returned to London for his Master of Arts in Information Services Management from London Metropolitan University.
In his spare time, Mr. Ashraf enjoys spending time in nature, playing and watching sports (he’s an avid supporter of Liverpool F.C.), hanging out with his family, and watching films. Of course, he also enjoys reading, being partial to mysteries like Sherlock Holmes and Robert Galbraith (aka JK Rowling).
