Ms. Jennifer George, Third Grade Teacher: I have taught for three years, one year at Maury. I like being able to watch my students get excited about their learning. My mother, grandmother and uncle were all teachers. I was inspired to do my part to help close the achievement gap in our country. The most memorable part of teaching this year’s class has been watching one of my students grow academically and emotionally. Also, having our class publish their autobiographies.
